What do I need to run Wishlist Hero?
This page lists what Wishlist Hero needs from your store, which themes it supports, and which third party apps it works alongside. Check it before installing and whenever you plan a theme or app change.
Store requirements
- A Shopify store with the online store channel published
- Permission to install apps and edit themes
- A live theme where you can enable app embeds

The app ships positioning presets for popular themes such as Dawn, Craft, Refresh, Prestige, Impulse, and Motion. If your theme is renamed or customized, pick the closest preset or use manual selectors.

Quick view integrations make the wishlist button appear inside the quick view popup and keep variant selection in sync. If your quick view app is not listed, contact support; most cases need a small selector configuration.
Translation of the wishlist works with Shopify translation apps and Weglot. See Languages and translations.
Currencies and languages
- Currencies: wishlist prices follow the shopper’s presentment currency on stores using Shopify Markets. Multi currency display requires Silver and above.
- Languages: the app admin runs in English, French, German, and Spanish. Storefront strings are whatever you set, in any language, per Languages and translations.
Browsers
Wishlist Hero supports the current versions of the major evergreen browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile. Guest wishlists rely on browser storage, so private browsing modes keep the list only for the session. See How wishlists persist.
Plan requirements
