Which products are most wishlisted and what should I do about it?

The Most wishlisted page ranks your catalog by how many shoppers saved each product, with date filters and a CSV export. This guide shows how to read the ranking and three concrete ways to act on it.

Open the report

In the Wishlist Hero app, click Most wishlisted in the navigation. The table lists products from highest saves to lowest, with:

  • Product name and link into your catalog
  • Wishlist count for the selected period

Use the Last added to wishlist between filter to isolate a window: the holiday run up, a launch month, or the last 30 days.

Export the list

Click Export to CSV and the report is emailed to your store owner address as a file you can pivot. The export respects the filters you set. One export runs at a time per store; the button tells you when one is already in progress.

Three ways to act on the ranking

  1. Stock the demand. A product climbing the ranking is a restock candidate before it sells out. Cross check the ranking against your inventory weekly.
  2. Promote what is already wanted. Wishlisted products convert better in ads and email because intent exists. Feature the top of the ranking in campaigns and on your home page.
  3. Price with confidence. Products with high saves tolerate smaller discounts. A price drop reminder on a heavily wishlisted item moves many shoppers at once; see Price drop reminder.

How this helps your store

The ranking is free market research: your shoppers telling you which products they want. Stores that restock and promote from this list spend less on demand discovery, because the demand already raised its hand.
