How do I see an individual customer’s wishlist?
The Customers page lists every shopper with a wishlist on your store and lets you open any list. Support agents use it daily: “what did she save?”, “which size did he want?”. This guide covers the search, the list view, and the export.
Find a customer
Open Customers in the app navigation. You can:
- Filter by customer name or email: type part of a name or address and search
- Filter by last update: show lists touched in a date range
- Page through the list at 25 rows at a time
The table shows:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Customer Name | The shopper’s name, linked to their Shopify admin profile. Guests appear as “Anonymous” |
| No of items in list | How many products are currently saved |
| Last Wishlist Addition On | When they last saved something |
| View Wishlist | Opens their list |
Open the list
Click View Wishlist on a row. The list opens exactly as the shopper sees it: product cards with images, prices, and their saved variants. Use it in support conversations to answer “what was in my list?” in seconds, or to check a saved variant before recommending an alternative.
The view opens the list’s private share page, so the link you see in the address bar is also usable in a reply to the shopper.
Export the report
Click Export to CSV to receive, by email, a file of your customers with their list sizes and last activity, respecting the filters you set. One export runs at a time; the page tells you when another is in progress. For the full data toolkit see Export wishlist data.
Privacy notes
- You see wishlists of your own customers only, inside your own store’s admin
- Guest lists show as “Anonymous” until the shopper logs in; the list content is still viewable for support
- Deleting a customer through Shopify’s GDPR process removes their wishlist; see How wishlists persist
